Diplomacy in Action

The Diplomatic Institute is launching a new Diplomacy Program, focusing on international business and economics, competitive and market intelligence, and negotiating international trade agreements. The course offers a comprehensive understanding of the diplomatic world, its principles, practices, and challenges.  It delves into the history, evolution, and various levels of diplomacy, including the roles of key figures like Secretary of State, Ambassadors, and Consuls.  Students will explore diplomacy through its ethical, legal, cultural, and technological aspects, and gain an overview of the challenges and opportunities facing diplomats.  The course covers various themes and topics, such as peace and security, development and cooperation, human rights, and democracy. Moreover, it includes practical elements, such as simulating and evaluating scenarios, focusing on the nuances of learning and teaching diplomacy.
